Production Control Manager jobs in Parkersburg, WV

Mull Group employs a Production Control Manager to plan and coordinate various activities of the company and its satellite divisions. The position is the central hub where information relating to customer order processing is controlled. The Production Control manager receives and provides information to all levels of management as well as customers and sales personnel.

Production Control Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer orders for price, terms and work scope as compared to quotes and previous orders.
• Setup jobs both in hardcopy files as well as in the database.
• Receive and distribute information to customers, management, shops and sales personnel.
• Assign tasks to initiate the orders through the job planning process and into production.
• File all orders and shop paperwork associated with orders.
• Review and update the corporate and shop sales schedules.
• Work with shop managers and schedulers to maintain accurate schedules.
• Schedule internal and outside trucks to pickup and deliver orders.
• Work with sales personnel to obtain customer supplied materials, progress payments and purchase orders.
• Receive and process completed orders from Mull shops and reassign work as necessary to keep customer orders progressing.
• Closeout completed jobs and process for invoicing.
• Prepare and distribute various production reports to the sales force and management.

Production Control Manager Skills and Specifications

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have an analytical mind to identify errors and inconsistencies in orders and information
• Must have good organizational and managerial skills
• Must have computer literacy to use production control systems and standard office automation tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
