Position Summary:

Plans, coordinates, controls, and directs activities involving production scheduling and/or release of production orders, the requisitioning of product purchased parts, and maintaining effective inventory control records and system procedures for responsible areas. Performs production scheduling activities and manages work assignments, to include staffing, scheduling, coordinating and planning. May oversee the set-up of work orders for assembly including picking lists, stock orders, and required materials to fulfill customer order requirements. Participates in the development of product forecast.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Participates in the development of production schedule.

• Coordinate all efforts to ensure that everything is manufactured on time, completely and safely.

• Continual improvements to our processes to streamline our operation and create efficiencies is paramount to a lean production schedule.

• Must partner with strategic sourcing/supply chain department for efficient and seamless production floor operations.

• Ensures the flow of materials, parts, assemblies between and/or within departments.

• Manage day to day assignments of direct reports.

• Must be willing to be First Aid/CPR/AED trained (at company expense)

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree; previous work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 7-10 years of manufacturing experience
