Production Control Manager manages the day-to-day tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Manager establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead our production team and oversee our manufacturing operations. This role is not just about overseeing the production process and managing the team; it's about being an integral part of the manufacturing line. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of managerial experience and practical skills in operating production machinery, especially in the creation of our signature cannabis-infused gummies. This position is for leaders who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves, work alongside their team on the production floor, and ensure the highest quality of our products through direct involvement in every step of the manufacturing process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the production facility, ensuring that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
    • Direct involvement in the daily production activities, including hands-on operation of machinery and active participation in the manufacturing of our cannabis-infused gummies.
    • Manage a team of production employees, including scheduling, training, and development to ensure a high-performing team.
    • Implement and maintain quality control standards, procedures, and certifications to meet regulatory compliance and company objectives.
    • Coordinate with the R&D department to implement new products and technologies into production lines.
    • Develop and monitor production budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs, to ensure financial targets are met.
    • Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and delivery of final products.
    • Foster a culture of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency within the production facility.
    • Report on production metrics and progress towards goals to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology to continuously enhance production capabilities and compliance.

    Requirements:

    • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in production management, preferably within the cannabis industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of cannabis product manufacturing processes, regulations, and quality control standards.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong internal and external relationships.
    • Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to lift 50lbs.
