Position Summary
The Production Assistant will be responsible preparing extrusion lines, drying material, ensuring paperwork and tooling is prepared, breaking down extrusion lines, adding additional traying support when required, and providing basic extrusion support. This position follows standard work methods to ensure production repeatability and the highest quality standards. This job operates in a controlled manufacturing environment designed for sustained production. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.
