The Production Engineer performs all conventional aspects of engineering work and requires the individual to be well rounded in experience and/or education in the various areas of production and operations engineering.Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Well surveillance and optimization
- Conduct engineering studies
- Evaluate feasibility and economics of proposed projects
- Resolve existing or potential complex production challenges
- Asset management planning
- Workover design and execution
- Production equipment design and troubleshooting
- Cost estimating and budgeting
- Interfacing with working interest partners, service companies and regulatory agencies
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMinimum Requirements:- Well versed in unconventional asset development and artificial lift techniques
- Proven experience in LOE reduction
- Extreme level of detail orientation with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to foster high level of confidence and reliability in thought processes and results
- Professional and polished demeanor
- Ability to work directly with all levels of personnel, from top management to lease operators
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects against assigned deadlines
- Demonstrated maturity in handling confidential data
Education & Work Experience RequiredMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering8 years of professional oil and gas exploration and production experienceAscent Benefits- Benefits start day one
