    Job Summary

    As a Production Engineer, you will be an integral part of our operations team, responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality credential products. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to optimize production processes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. You will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the overall success of our credential operations.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Continuously evaluate and enhance production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste while meeting production targets.
    • Leverage your expertise in ANSI C programming to optimize automation within production systems.
    • Utilize your understanding of low (125 KHz) and high-frequency (13.83 MHz) credential structures to monitor and maintain product quality.
    • Implement quality control measures and promptly address quality issues.
    • Apply your knowledge to manipulate credential card formats, including decoding customer sample cards and generating new card formats tailored to customer specifications. These card formats serve as essential utilities for constructing data to be programmed into cards, tags, and coils.
    • Utilize your proficiency in ISO communication protocols, including T=0 and T=1 (ISO 7816-3), to facilitate seamless communication between credentials (cards/tags/key fobs) and readers.
    • Ensure the ability to read and write data to specific areas on the card.
    • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that production equipment is well-maintained and optimized for your specialized production needs.
    • Assist in production planning and scheduling, considering the intricacies of credential systems production.
    • Coordinate with production supervisors and managers to align production schedules with customer demand.
    • Apply your expertise in credential systems to respond to production issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
    • Promote a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
    • Ensure that safety measures are tailored to the unique aspects of credential systems production.
    • Maintain detailed records of production activities, including production reports, inventory levels, equipment maintenance logs, and specifics related to credential systems production.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality control, procurement, and engineering, to resolve production-related challenges and implement process improvements within the context of credential systems.
