Production Engineering Manager manages the planning and designing of methods to improve or enhance existing programs. Oversees the analysis and review of budgets, schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. Being a Production Engineering Manager develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production requirements. Ensures projects are completed on time. Additionally, Production Engineering Manager acts as advisor to production engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. We are seeking a diligent, experienced OM to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing company. In this role, you will manage all floor manufacturing personnel, oversee the management and QA of equipment, and ensure the efficiency of operations. You will also be required to manage inventory, enforce safety regulations, and maintain deadlines. Work with other managers to maintain company flow.
To ensure success as Operations Manager, you should be highly organized and have excellent communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch OM should be able to anticipate and address hindrances to operational efficiency.
