The Regional Silo Services Manager will develop new business to maximize sales and profitability, develop market expansion strategies and work with sales channels. This individual will train new staff and may perform jobs to ensure safety and performance which meets or exceeds customer expectations. This position is responsible developing new markets and maintaining existing relationships.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a sales strategy (including long and short range planning) that will drive sustainable sales growth, profit margin growth, increased customer satisfaction, and increased market share for silo service in the region.
• Develop and execute new sales programs working with end users and the sales force to promote and sell services.
• Establish lasting partnerships with customers, including follow up, to ensure that we are securing repeat business and providing total solutions to the customers.
• Assist Silo Support Technician with the coordination and training of regionally based subcontractors to man silo jobs as required.
• Ensure Silo Cleaning activities for the region are done in an effective and safe manner, while maximizing profitability and market share growth of products and services.
• Initiates relationships with subcontractors, partners to supplement Martin employed service resources.
• Supervises and performs silo cleaning activities as needed.
• Assists in development and responsible for implementation of long and short-range planning and objectives that guide the region in maintaining and improving a competitive position, profitably and safely performing Silo Cleaning operations. This includes route management, utilization analysis, gross profit improvement plans, including analysis of bid and actual profitability of jobs.
• Develops and manages operating budget for department.
• Supervises and trains employees in the assigned department including recruitment of qualified personnel, performance management, scheduling, corrective actions, etc.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and MSHA requirements regarding safety issues, use of safety equipment, material safety data sheets, etc.

Education, Experience & Training:

• Two-year degree in Business or mechanical technical field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Three or more years of service management experience.
• Three or more years of related sales experience
• Exceptional oral and written communicative skills.
• Business strategy management a plus.
• Initiative in decision-making, problem resolution situations and in the performance of job duties.
