Job Duties

This job requires efficient operation of the Rigid Glasweve filter line, converting raw materials into Rigid Glasweve semi-finished and finished products using various cutting, mixing, and packaging methods.

Starting salary: $17.75/hr and $1.00 shift differential

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm-2:00 am

Key Responsibilities

• COATING– Expertly convert raw materials into coated material using mixing and coating methods, including:- Following priorities and sequences to produce products that meet customer requirements.

  • Read work order instructions accurately and carry out operations as required.
  • Proficient in preparing measures of granular and liquid materials for mixing coating solutions.
  • Complete all quality checks accurately.
  • Efficiently process coated rolls into Rigid Glasweve.
  • Accurately record traceability information for each roll produced.
  • Store processed Rigid Glasweve that is not moving to the next step in the material holding room.
  • Notify supervision immediately of any out-of-tolerance readings and/or barriers to meeting production requirements.
  • Keep the work area clean at all times, including the machine and the floor.

• LASER CUTTING– Expertly convert coated material into semi-finished products (coupons), including:- Prioritizing and sequencing production to meet customer requirements.

  • Accurately read work order instructions and carry out operations as required.
  • Safely load coated rolls into the laser cutting material feed bin.
  • Accurately select laser cutting programs per semi-finished (coupon) Part Number.
  • Complete all quality checks accurately and efficiently.
  • Notify supervision immediately of any out-of-tolerance readings and/or barriers to meeting production requirements.
  • Keep the work area clean at all times, including the machine, floor, and mirror/lenses.

• FORM & FIRE

• Expertly convert coated material/semi-finished products (coupons) into finished goods, including:- Prioritizing and sequencing production to meet customer requirements.

  • Accurately read work order instructions and carry out operations as required.
  • Accurately select Form & Fire program per finished goods Part Number.
  • Safely collect filters from the bin.
  • Efficiently complete all quality checks accurately.
  • Accurately package finished goods per instructions.
  • Notify supervision immediately of any out-of-tolerance readings and/or barriers to meeting production requirements.
  • Keep the work area clean at all times, including the machine, floor, molds, and filters.

• Efficiently multitask between Coating, Laser Cutting, and Form & Fire processes to ensure continuous manufacturing flow.

• Perform basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks as assigned.
