Production Engineering Manager manages the planning and designing of methods to improve or enhance existing programs. Oversees the analysis and review of budgets, schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. Being a Production Engineering Manager develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production requirements. Ensures projects are completed on time. Additionally, Production Engineering Manager acts as advisor to production engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. This job requires efficient operation of the Rigid Glasweve filter line, converting raw materials into Rigid Glasweve semi-finished and finished products using various cutting, mixing, and packaging methods.
Starting salary: $17.75/hr and $1.00 shift differential
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm-2:00 am
Key Responsibilities
COATING– Expertly convert raw materials into coated material using mixing and coating methods, including:- Following priorities and sequences to produce products that meet customer requirements.
LASER CUTTING– Expertly convert coated material into semi-finished products (coupons), including:- Prioritizing and sequencing production to meet customer requirements.
FORM & FIRE
Expertly convert coated material/semi-finished products (coupons) into finished goods, including:- Prioritizing and sequencing production to meet customer requirements.
Efficiently multitask between Coating, Laser Cutting, and Form & Fire processes to ensure continuous manufacturing flow.
Perform basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks as assigned.
