SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all production activities during the second shift, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Leads and motivates a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
· Monitors and evaluates production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
· Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
· Conducts regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to foster professional development and growth.
· Maintains accurate production records, including inventory levels, production output, and quality control metrics.
· Identifies equipment maintenance needs and coordinates maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
· Communicates effectively with management, peers, and subordinates to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
· Fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production team.
· Knowledge of Lean principles is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, visual acuity, spatial awareness, proficiency in using hand tools and equipment. This position may require lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged periods of standing, and occasional bending or squatting. Candidates should be able to comfortably perform physical tasks associated with the role, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
OVERTIME / TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Overtime (OT) will be required from time to time for short-term or long-term duration, as business needs mandate. Travel may be required by any mode of transportation as determined by company for business reasons such as, but not limited to, equipment service / installation, skill development or training
