Assists in analyzing and reviewing budgets, schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. Being a Production Engineering Supervisor develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Production Engineering Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Production Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.
