Production Engineering Supervisor supervises a team of production engineers who plan and design methods to improve or enhance existing programs. Assists in analyzing and reviewing budgets, schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. Being a Production Engineering Supervisor develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Production Engineering Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Production Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Summary/Objective: The Production Coordinator is part of the manufacturing support team and will manage capacity, throughput, and optimize flow for all manufacturing and support functions. This position will coordinate activities associated with development, implementation, and results in the planning and scheduling all levels of production to satisfy sales requirements and finished goods stocking levels.
