Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production targets are met. Your role will involve supervising a team of production workers, monitoring production quality and efficiency, and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to resolve production issues and optimize processes

- Recruit and hire new employees as needed
- Train new employees on production procedures and ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase productivity and efficiency
- Maintain accurate production records and reports

Skills:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and hand tools
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Basic math skills for performing calculations related to production quantities, scrap rates, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus
