Production Manager manages operations of production areas to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. Follows overall production schedules to manage staffing and establish daily and shift production goals. Being a Production Manager monitors shift production metrics to identify and resolve issues and implement process improvements. Coordinates maintenance, turnarounds, and downtime for efficiency and speed. The Production Worker is responsible for safe operating and maintaining equipment in filters production or warehouse area and preparing items for distribution. This job involves assembling and checking filters, ensuring that all machinery runs smoothly, and assisting other area in production as assigned.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
1. Before starting to work each day, Safety Audits must be completed and turned into the Line Leader
2. Works on a filters assembly line, puts together and inspect filter products and adheres to all factory safety guidelines and standards
3. Sets up machinery to the required setting for the product scheduled to be produced
4. Monitors equipment to ensure that filters are being assembled properly
5. Makes sure that the correct raw materials are being used for the filters scheduled to be produced.
6. Inspects assembled filters to ensure they are up to quality standards.
7. Attains daily production goals and meets production deadlines
8. Maintains safety and proper housekeeping at all times
9. Performs other duties as assigned
10. Continuous Communication with Line Leader or Supervisor of any issues with the raw materials or machinery
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1. Must be able to learn how to operate machinery
2. Must have basic math skills to count and be able to learn to read and follow schedule
3. Must have good communication skills
4. Must be able to work well with others
5. Must be self-motivated and need very little supervision

2. Must be able to determine if material is good quality.
3. Inform your line leader and supervisor of all services that the machine may need, and it will be the line leader or supervisor’s responsibility to call Maintenance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be able to lift raw materials up to 40 pounds.
2. Must be able to stand at work station for long periods of time.
3. Must be able to walk from one area to the next during shift on a continuous basis carrying raw materials.
4. Must be able to continuous repetitive motions which would include frequently bending forward, twisting and squatting.
5. Must be physically able to work with all raw materials required within this position.
6. Must be able to use both hands on a continuous basis.
7. Must be able to lift arm over shoulder height.
WORKING CONDITIONS
1. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
2. Must be able to work in an area that is noisy and dusty.
3. Must wear required personal protection equipment (P.P.E.) assigned for your department and at all time while in the Production area.
4. Must be able to work in both hot and cold atmosphere due to weather conditions.
