Production Manager manages operations of production areas to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. Follows overall production schedules to manage staffing and establish daily and shift production goals. Being a Production Manager monitors shift production metrics to identify and resolve issues and implement process improvements. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. Duties:
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products
- Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team for timely material availability
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of power tools, hand tools, assembly techniques, and fabrication processes
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Excellent mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
