Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Must be able to mix and measure paint per specifications.
• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth
• Clean parts as per specification Paint part according to specification and thickness
• Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage.
• Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals
• Applies some advanced skills that allow employee to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations
• Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations.
• Complete the paint daily checklist.
• Properly utilizes all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines.
• Maintains all paint equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) : Preferred

Experience : 7 plus years of experience in Aircraft Painting, Top Coat, Prime Painting in a plating / processing company

Other Physical Requirements

• Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth)
• Sense of Sound - Able to hear normal audio range
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - All required

• Compensation Range $21.00 to $ 29.00 per hour (DOE) plus second shift differential
