Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Being a Production Painter completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. Additionally, Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Production Painter possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. As a Painter, you are essential to the property’s ability to meet its readiness and leasing goals week-to-week. You will use your strong attention to professionally paint recently vacated apartments to help make them ready to rent to new residents.
The How…
You get to use your one year of general maintenance experience to prepare all paintable surfaces in the unit (including patching, sanding, and priming where needed), neatly and cleanly paint prepared surfaces, and complete clean-up and touch-up work before the move-in date.
Since you enjoy painting living spaces, you focus on producing a professional-level paint job in every unit. You understand how to use the tools and equipment to complete paints with minimal touch-up work and mess. Two to four hours for touch-ups and eight hours for the full painting of a unit (depending on unit sizes and color changes) are baselines for what you like to get done in a day.

You will work full-time Monday through Friday at our location.
