Job Description:

Bayshore Remodels is a leading home remodeling company committed to enhancing the beauty and functionality of homes in Largo, FL and surrounding areas. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects in Citrus County, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting is also a plus. We are seeking a candidate with a keen eye for quality and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation:
• Prepare various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim, by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections to ensure a smooth and even finish.
• Prepping surrounding areas with plastic, brown paper and tape.
• Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, including sanding, filling, and caulking
• Highly skilled in preparing kitchen cabinets for the painting process.
• Paint Application:
• Apply primers and sealers to surfaces as necessary to enhance paint adhesion and ensure a professional, long-lasting finish.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, while ensuring accurate color matching and consistent coverage.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards, and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment, such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns, to ensure their longevity and functionality.
• Clean and store equipment properly after use.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when working with paints, solvents, and other potentially hazardous materials.
• Comply with all relevant environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Client Interaction:
• Communicate with clients to understand their painting needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns or questions they may have.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional painter with a strong portfolio of interior and exterior projects.as a professional painter in both interior and exterior settings.
• Knowledge of various painting techniques, surface preparations, and material selection.
• Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of safety practices and precautions related to painting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
