Painter (Automotive)

Our operations in Conway, Arkansas include metal stamping, forming, painting, and assembly. The facility utilizes stamping presses, brake presses, roll forms, lasers, shears, and a multi-stage paint process. A concept to finished products company providing parts and sub-assemblies to customers. Approximately 100,000 square feet of floor space and 50 acres are utilized for fabrication operations. An additional 350,000 square feet is available for future business growth.

General Description
Performs production spray painting by using elect-static painting equipment and procedures on parts presented via a conveyor system. Inspects for obvious defects in line with established automotive quality standards. Performs detailed visual inspections when necessary to determine the quality of product where limits are not clearly defined.
Skill Requirements:
- Proven ability to use Elect-static Spray Gun.
- Previous Auto/Bodypaint/repair experience or equivalent education.
- Ability to read, write, and relate the meaning of written instructions to practical application.
- Follow the work process to ensure quality in paint application.
Position Requirements:
- Must submit to and pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and periodically for re-certification purposes.
- Utilize prescribed respiratory protection.
- Considerable physical effort may be required consisting of lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and grasping.
- Work in a safe manner through adherence to company safety policies. All appropriate and required personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to Associates.
- Ability to withstand a minimum of 10 hours on a concrete surface and lift up to 40 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
