Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Being a Production Painter completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. Additionally, Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Production Painter possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. To be a painter with us - You should know how to properly prep and to be able to correctly perform tasks that demonstrate that you know how to apply paint using various different methods, caulk, do drywall repairs, hang wallpaper, apply garage floor coatings, apply stain, climb ladders, operate heavy machinery, work as a team player, clean up and clean equipment at the end of the day, and most importantly be reliable.
If you do not possess these skills and have a desire to learn these valuable skills we may have a spot for you as a painters apprentice.
We are a licensed, insured, and bonded company. We have a shop and do not work out of our house. We do commercial and residential work. Pay is hourly and checks are weekly. Pay is based on your knowledge, experience, and performance. I am a legit employer that pays weekly and overtime. I do not piece meal work and I do not 1099. Pay is DOE.
