Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Being a Production Painter completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. Additionally, Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Production Painter possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Doubletree by Hilton Norfolk Airport Hotel is currently recruiting for Painters. The Position as painter is responsible for painting, finishing, and maintaining the interior and exterior surfaces of the hotel. Prepares surfaces for painting and finishing by applying undercoats and finish coats while using a range of application methods and materials. Must be reliable and courteous. Must be familiar with Dry Wall preparation and maintenance.
