Production Painter jobs in Petersburg, VA

Woods Automotive Collision Carstar of Petersburg is looking for an Automotive Painter Technician.

We are looking for an experience painter to grow our new shop so we can continue to grow our business opportunities for our employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Painter will be responsible for preparing vehicles for refinishing and painting in a production environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Masking and taping vehicles
• Sanding vehicles and parts
• Spraying vehicles and parts with primer
• Moving cars in and out of the paint booth
• Sanding and buffing to remove imperfections
• Preparing vehicles and parts for reassembly
• Other duties as needed to keep the quality and repair process moving efficiently
• Have experience with water borne paint

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates will have experience in a body shop environment or experience as a painter that is able to jump right in.

It is preferable that candidates have certain type of painter tools of their trade.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
