Reports to: CA Production Manager

Pay: $22.89 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

NORD Gear is seeking a full-Time Production Painter in our Corona manufacturing facility on first shift. Our Production Painter is responsible for painting gearbox assemblies and parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Must be able to produce a high-quality paint finish on products at high production levels. Responsible for quality of prime and finish paint. Responsible for daily paint booth operations including cleaning and preparation of units or parts for paint. Loading the parts on to the paint line and painting the units per work instructions. Performs daily preventive maintenance on spray equipment to assure proper performance. Responsible for cleaning spray equipment and work area to ensure a safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mask units per work instructions.
• Load units to be painted on conveyor system.
• Paint units per work instructions.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• High School Diploma or relevant experience.

Experience:

• Previous production painting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Skills and Key Attributes:

• Ability to read and write. Good organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
