Production Scheduler

The primary goal of this position is to create a production schedule for every production line and, improve the overall material flow, and ensure on-time delivery to the customer (internal and external) while improving communication and implementing continuous improvement activities.

• Be able to navigate PPMS, DP Exchange and SAP Systems
• Schedule carriers for shipments as needed
• File copies of uploads and shipments for BOL, Delivery Note, and Packing List for each shipment

• Utilize Export Packing List with electronic data to BDP for exports
• Perform Lag Checks in Warehouse
• Maintain accurate Inventory Control Records
• Work with CSRs and Warehouse Associates to get product received in and shipped out promptly
• Eliminate material purchasing errors by conducting regular inventory checks during the week
• Provide weekly scheduling spreadsheet to the Corporate Planning/ Business and Sales Team and update changes as needed 
• Communicate daily with Corporate Scheduler/ Planner to stay current with business/customer needs and business/customer feedback

• High school diploma/GED required
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Excel/Word
• Excellent time management skills
• 2 years of production planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Prior customer service, account coordinator, manufacturing or sales experience preferred
