Summary:
Using the master schedule, the Production Scheduler I plans and establishes manufacturing schedules that balance production levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer delivery schedules, departmental/company goals, and capacity utilization for assigned resource.
What You'll Do:
Primary 65%

Schedules and releases production orders for assigned resources in accordance with the established deadlines.

Compares current and forecasted demand with available capacity; uses judgement to anticipate and alert of any foreseeable constraints.

Coordination of daily paperwork and production ticket distribution while ensuring accuracy.
Secondary 20%

Analyzes options for continuing production when encountering unplanned disruptions.

Schedule production for additional resources across the organization as required.

Serve as point of contact for technical questions regarding problems with the build sequence, paperwork discrepancies, capacity concerns, material availability, and other constraints; providing support and problem fixing assistance to resolve production issues. Escalating to Mater Scheduler or leadership as needed.

Direct support to Production Scheduler II as necessary.
