FLSA Status: Salary Exempt

Weekly Base Rate: $1,346.80 - $1,637.20

Base Salary Range: $70,033.60 - $85,134.40

Return on Asset Bonus: Up to 33.9% of eligible wages.

First Year Teammates in this role can expect to earn over $85,000 after annual bonus. Teammates in the role are also eligible for Nucor Steel profit sharing which has averaged 21% over last 5 Years.

Basic Job Functions:

The Sales and Production Scheduler is responsible for taking care of our customers by working closely with the mill to ensure orders are produced on time to take care of market demands. The Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling production throughout the facility, balancing the needs of the customers and market, optimizing finished goods inventory and supporting the sales department. This position typically works Monday through Friday, but evenings or weekends may be required from time to time based on business needs. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One or more years of experience in the steel business
• Experience in sales and scheduling
• Bachelor’s Degree
