Production Scheduler Manager manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Manager monitors production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules. Additionally, Production Scheduler Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Scheduler Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Scheduler Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.

    What you’ll do:


    Position Overview:

    You will manage multi-product line manufacturing operations in order to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals across various shifts. This role will develop shift supervisors and hourly employees through teaching, coaching, mentoring, and leadership, as well as manage, direct, plan and coordinate (through Supervisors, & Team Leads) the manufacturing activities of both assembly and machining sections to meet plant objectives, and sales goals.

    This role is a key member of the Leadership Team and promotes a plant culture of Continuous Improvement, Lean and Quality to drive change. Job duties support the creation and implementation of Eaton Lean Six Sigma strategies, which will lead to improvements in areas such as employee safety, quality performance, factory margins, product delivery performance and reductions in product/process variation.


    Essential Functions Include:

    • Work cross-functionally to create a robust value stream map for the machining and assembly value stream and assigned product lines for both current and future state
    • Lead a team of direct & indirect reports to implement improvements to efficiencies & productivity in the area
    • Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to deliver a strategy for current and future business needs for these product lines
    • Build capability of value stream group leaders/members to drive improvements & accountability
    • Review existing processes/systems and drive implementation of improvements using lean CI tools
    • Prepare the Profit Plan and manage costs within that Profit Plan
    • Develop departmental performance targets & ensure KPIs are met
    • Own the supply chain relationship, coordinating with both vendors and customers
    • Perform other duties as assigned by direct manager

    Qualifications:


    Required (Basic) Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
    • Minimum five (5) years of related experience including increasing responsibility and leadership of projects in a manufacturing environment
    • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field of study from an accredited institution
    • SAP business system experience
    • Supply Chain experience, particularly in planning
    • Lean Six Sigma experience
    • Machining experience
    • Change management experience
    • Process management experience

    Skills:


    Position Criteria:

    • Up to 10% Travel
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus
    • Ability to effectively present results and recommendations
    • Proactively implement, promote, and maintain a Zero Incident Safety Culture, through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and rule enforcement.
    • Support New Product Development projects as needed. Ensure robust lean / Quality principles are incorporated in new manufacturing / distribution processes
