Production Scheduler Manager manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Manager monitors production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules. Additionally, Production Scheduler Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Scheduler Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. The Production Manager is responsible for enhancements projects, and builder installation work within our book of business, as well as the leadership of assigned production crews. The PM manages his or her assigned projects in accordance with Yard-Nique's Customer Service ideals, Quality standards and Contract protocol.
Responsibilities
Required Education and Experience
Minimum 2-5 years related experience
AS or BS degree in Horticulture, Landscape, Construction, or related field
Experience coaching and managing employees responsible for landscaping duties, or other related industry labor
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word

The production manager is exposed to a normal office/field environment and is occasionally subjected to weather, extreme or hazardous conditions.
Physical Demands
The production manager handles office equipment and tools such as phones, printers, computers, etc. and when needed landscape equipment.
Travel
Daily travel between properties/facilities is expected. Out of town travel is expected no more than 5% for this position outside of the service area, and in general is for purposes of required training or meetings.
