Production Scheduler Manager manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Manager monitors production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules. Additionally, Production Scheduler Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Scheduler Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Duties:
· Contact all direct care applicants within 24 hours of application being submitted.
o Should be contacted first three days of application being completed for three contact attempts.
o Each day we should reach out to applicants via phone call, text message on Apploi, & email on Apploi.
· Ensure that nurse schedules are completed timely, and all open shifts are posted for team members to see. Schedules for the upcoming month should be posted by the 20th of the prior month.
· Ensure that aide schedules are completed timely, and all open shifts are posted for team members to see. Schedules for the upcoming month should be posted by the 20th of the prior month.
· Manage, set up, & conduct interviews with Direct Care staff to ensure staffing pars are met.
o Make sure Up To sheets are handed out for each applicant to take home.
· Check time punch records for direct care team members to ensure they are clocking in and out.
· Check time punch records for agency providers to ensure they are clocking in and out.
· Review and process requests for time off for direct care. Confer with DON that there are not numerous employees off at the same time.
· Track team members attendance and report any bad behaviors to HR for accountability.
· Approve agency timecards via their platforms.
· Ensure staffing meetings are being held daily using the staffing meeting agenda.
· Be knowledgeable of all open positions for direct care.
· Ensure PPD is being calculated, met, & reported properly daily. Calculate and provide agency nurse and aide hours used daily.
· Ensure applicant log is being filled out daily and with integrity.
· Complete & update Staffing Improvement Plans
· Ensure new hires are onboarded promptly.
· Using On Shift properly and to its full capabilities. Ensure there is a back up employee in place trained to do On Shift
· Ensure staff are heard and appreciated.
· Conduct recruitment and retention meetings with nurses and aides to detect any issues at hand and/or any positive successes in staffing.
