Production Scheduler Manager manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Manager monitors production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules. Additionally, Production Scheduler Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Scheduler Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Scheduler Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The 2nd shift production supervisor will work from 2pm to 10:30pm Monday - Friday.
You will be responsible for overseeing several production rooms as well as shipping and receiving.
Candidate will also work alongside warehouse personnel to ensure proper materials are being pulled / staged for production.
This position is also responsible for reviewing and approving timecards and time off requests for 2nd shift employees through ADP
This position requires someone who is willing and able to learn quickly and think on their feet.
Possessing sound decision making is a must. Must be able to work will with others and effectively lead a diverse team in different working
environments. Must be willing to work extra hours when needed and someone who enjoys facing new challenges as a member of a team.
Prior food manufacturing / production management is a plus but not required
Management experience is required
