Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our team. This position may also include use of a company vehicle depending on distance traveling from company facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Financial

• Assist in setting labor budgets
• Manages job hour tracking
• Purchases supplies and materials as directed
• Work to avoid waste and save company resources whenever possible

Client Management

• Day to day customer contact
• First respondent to client requests
• Performs regular property inspections and meetings with property management

Employee Management

• Dispatches crews in morning and meets crews in evening to review day
• Adjusts schedules as needed to prepare for upcoming day
• Hires field employees
• Assigns uniforms and company equipment as needed
• Implements and utilizes the Gardener Training Series
• Evaluates crew leader performance
• Evaluates crew member performance
• Coordinates and communicates concerns between office and field operations
• Implements and follows disciplinary actions and procedures
• Work to ensure crew morale stays as high as possible

Safety Management

• Chooses topics and implements Safety Tailgate Meetings
• Participates in the New Hire Training for safe equipment operation
• Performs vehicle and equipment inspections
• Responsible for identification and correction of any unsafe working conditions

Marketing and Sales Management

• Identifies and suggests target properties for replacement
• Measures properties for proposal generation
• Creates and submits remedial and maintenance proposals
• Implements Job Start Ups with crew leaders

Field Management

• Establish, implement, and manage labor and material budgets
• Schedule daily routes and add new jobs in proper order
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet customer demands and company goals
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Lead and motivate a team of crew leaders and gardeners, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations

Other duties

· Train to temporarily handle essential business functions in owners’ absence

· Other duties as business needs dictate

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven leadership abilities with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving goals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiency and implement effective solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in account management and building strong relationships with clients
• Ability to remain cool under pressure and deescalate conflict with clients and employees
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize software systems for business management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
