The position is to manage the Oracle ERP schedule for the Optics Fabrication department. The Production Scheduler is responsible for managing the schedule to maximize productivity in the most efficient manner. The person in this position will manage the production schedules and monitor production workflow results for the different process areas. Work closely with the Production Manager to understand the activities and priorities that can impact workflow. This includes identifying and reporting material and capacity constraints.
Collect, record, and report production results on a daily or weekly basis

Leads business process-related projects requiring coordination with other functions
Solves a broad range of system and/or workflow problems of varying scope and complexity
Works closely with other functions such as Operations, Engineering, Planning and Procurement in the scheduling and execution of manufacturing operations
Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, related disciplines or equivalent experience.
Experience with manufacturing business systems (ERP, MES and APS) highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
Experience with business intelligence and data analytics. BI, SQL, VBA, ERP (Oracle) desirable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Self-motivated, excellent attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

California pay range: MIN $77,000.00 - - MAX $128,000.00 Year
