Production Scheduler Supervisor jobs in Burlington, VT

We are looking for a production supervisor to shoulder our Plant Manager. This person will be responsible for assuring best practices and legal compliance in regards with employee management, best manufacturing practices as well as insuring timely completion of workload.

The production manager’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage and supervise day to day production work flow and labor
• Manage production work schedule and parts requirements in order to achieve timely completion and accurate delivery
• Oversee production processes and resolve issues
• Develop internal tools to improve production efficiency and quality
• Train new employees
• Support with troubleshooting in regards with customer issues
• Support Engineering analysis when required
• Carry out the period maintenance required on equipment
• Support HR with staffing needs, communicating job expectations, enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, and disciplinary actions up to and including terminations
• Responsible for OSHA compliance and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all, employees and visitors
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
