We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our Carey, Ohio Plant.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production on the shop floor. This includes employee supervision and / or coaching, production scheduling, meeting manpower requirements and placements, as well as on-the-job training for employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Meet daily manpower and scheduling requirements.
• Manage absentee coverage.
• Provide on-the-job training to employees.
• Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization.
• Maintain an accurate record of all production activities.
• Evaluate team performance.
• Interact with other departments when necessary to ensure proper system function.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
• Provide preventative maintenance.
• Initiate new job start-ups when required.
• Effectively manage scrap control and reduction.
• Engage in plan development and implementation.
• Delegate work to subordinates when necessary to ensure efficiency and timely completion of all tasks.
• Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately.

Qualifications - External

REQUIREMENTS :

• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management preferred.
• Three years of production supervisory experience.
• Must be open and available to work off shifts.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Flexible Schedule and ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide preventative maintenance and thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of all duties.
