Production Scheduler Supervisor jobs in Orlando, FL

A locally owned company facing significant growth is searching for a Production Scheduler and Procurement Specialist to support the ongoing needs of their sports nutrition, supplements and beverage purchasing and scheduling goals. This organization's focus on quality and customer satisfaction has enabled their growth and ability to expand and recognizes the need to continue their product development by selecting quality vendors and creating a favorable production schedule to optimize their efficiencies and performance goals. The primary responsibilities for the position are as follows:

• Develop production schedules
• Coordination with various departments to enable optimal performance of production team
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels
• Coordinate with various departments including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, optimize resource allocation, and improve overall efficiency
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and align production schedules accordingly
• Provide reports related to procurement activities and inventory levels
• Presentation of information to internal and external key personnel
• Effective communication with suppliers and development of strong relationships
• Source and select suppliers for goods and services
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing and delivery schedules

In order to be considered for the position, qualified candidates must have the following:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and relationship cultivation ability
• Prior experience working in food or beverage supply chain company
• Flexible and willing to learn
• Desire for success
• Bilingual a plus
