Production Scheduler Supervisor jobs in Portsmouth, NH

Monitors outstanding production orders and informs management personnel concerning job progress. Schedules jobs for production, verifies progress of jobs, and informs supervisor concerning any variations. Records percentage of schedule completed. Compiles list of materials needed for job and contacts vendors to requisition materials. Arranges for notification and distribution of materials upon arrival by performing following duties personally.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedules all production events by department, utilizing existing time studies, manually adjusting for special circumstances.
• Checks schedule, verifies progress of jobs, and informs supervisor of any variance from production schedule.
• Responds to requests from sales personnel concerning schedule status.
• May determine shipping priorities from schedule sheet, and inform inspection, finishing, and shipping departments when necessary.
• Monitors production progress daily based on expectation and posts production metric by individual, team, and department.
• Compiles list of materials needed for job and contacts vendors to requisition materials.
• Arranges for notification and distribution of materials upon arrival.
• Delivers supplementary instructions to production personnel when necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.

• Strong computer skills, familiarity with File Maker and Microsoft Excel a plus.
• Knowledge of Shopworks OnSite ERP system a strong plus.
• Strong analytic and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Demonstrate high level of garment decoration knowledge.
• Ability to be diplomatic when communicating between departments.
• Ability to remain calm in fast paced environment.
• Must be punctual, dependable and organized.
