Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Coordinates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Supervisor monitors daily production results and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Additionally, Production Scheduler Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Scheduler Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     Summary
    This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in conveyor belt manufacturing.
    Duties include:

    • Operate their assigned area according to observed standards of safety and housekeeping.
    • Communicate departmental objectives to department personnel.
    • Monitor the manufacturing process. Confirm that procedures and specifications are adhered to
    • Monitors production schedule and ensures adequate raw materials are available to fulfill orders. Communicates inventory needs to Purchasing department.
    • Follow established inventory control reporting procedures.
    • Master departmental processes and lead daily decision making and problem solving.
    • Provide leadership to department personnel and demonstrate effective mindsets.
    • Assign, train and assist department personnel and develop their abilities in order to maximize performance.
    • Convey pertinent facts related to employee disciplinary problems and work with Human Resources to properly handle disciplinary issues. Assist in investigations and handling interpersonal conflicts as required.
    • Collaborate with other managers, staff and group leaders as necessary to ensure proper workflow in department.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalency diploma AND two to three years supervisory experience.
    • Manufacturing experience, preferably in Rubber manufacturing
    • Must be able to read and write English.
