Production Scheduler Supervisor jobs in Queens Village, NY

We are seeking a Project Scheduler for a high profile, mega-project at JFK Airport in Queens, NY. The Project Scheduler is responsible for tracking progress and coordinating scheduling efforts between the Project Master Schedule and Installation Progress Tracker for the installation team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

• Perform Advanced Professional Work related to installation scheduling assignments;
• Read, interpret, and communicate information from Project Master Schedule for installation, commissioning, and testing activities;
• Assess project status related to applicable contract documents;
• Ensure installation progress is accurately reported and coordinated with Project Schedule;
• Drive Consistent Communications between supply chain, installation, commissioning teams including planning and project management departments;
• Proactive Communicator to alert project team of risks or negative trending for quick resolution;
• Perform field inspections to gather relevant data to support schedule progress, claim development and defense, and resolve schedule issues with installation and engineering teams;
• Evaluate areas of schedule improvement or schedule risk;
• Review and process complex comprehensive plan amendments, site plans;
• Assist in supporting Schedule of Value reporting and contractually required schedule deliverables.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant education in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field;
• 8 years of experience in project planning or construction management;
• Demonstrated experience with forensic schedule analysis related to: Critical Path Method, Time Impact Analysis, EVM and Analysis and Resource and Cost Loading;
• Background in Materials Handling, Airport Construction or General Construction;
• Proficiency in Primavera Schedule software;
• Proficiency in Procore;
• OSHA 30 is required.
