    TNA is currently looking for a Production Supervisor. Our vision for this position is to lead his/her team in achieving all plant and departmental objectives within their scope of responsibility and manage the operational systems of the department to ensure compliance and successful execution by performing the following duties:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Collaborates cross-functionally to create and maintain a work environment that results in high employee self-motivation and engagement.
    • Understands the value and contributes to the mitigation of reputational risk and the promotion of a “employer of choice” perception within the communities we support, in general, and the TNA workforce, specifically.
    • Supports a safe workplace, a healthy environment, and the achievement of all ESH goals by effective use of ESH mission statements, policies, and systems related to environmental, safety, and health.
    • Supports and creates internal & external customer value and achievement of goals by effective use of all quality mission statements, policies and systems related to quality.
    • Communicates effectively with team members, peers, internal and external customers and all others as needed to achieve TNA’s plant goals. This may require strategic interpretation for effective tactical execution.
    • Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills and initiates problem resolution and continuous improvement activities.
    • Demonstrates effective leadership skills. Engages direct reports in order to enhance employee retention and attain optimum levels of productivity.
    • Plans and facilitates effective meetings.
    • Monitors the production floor proactively to ensure safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery standards are achieved and maintained.
    • Scheduling of people, machines, materials, and support services to achieve maximum team efficiency in meeting production requirements.
    • Performs administrative tasks and reporting related to time/attendance, quality data, production data, performance data, training data, and team member change records.
    • Ensure team members are trained to guarantee proper skill sets are developed and improved on daily.
    • Ensure performance evaluations and counseling sessions are conducted on time and in a constructive manner.
    • Translate company objectives in ESH, 5-S, quality, Kaizen, and production into action plans.
    • Review production schedules and estimates manpower requirements for completion of job assignment.
    • Interprets company policies and safety regulations to team members and and ensures compliance.
    • Work with Human Resources Department to hire, train, and develop manufacturing personnel in the execution of their responsibilities.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; at least one year of related experience and/or training (including applicable progressive military service); or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Verbal and written skills, mechanical aptitude, and some essential electrical experience preferred.
