Production Supervisor Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our facility located in Greensboro, NC, 27406. The ideal candidate will have experience with ISO 9001 Certification, Lean Manufacturing Principles, and strong leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily production activities
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Certification standards
• Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Supervise and train production team members
• Monitor and improve production efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals
• Interviewand evaluate prospective employees;plan and coordinate training for new hires and existing employees for the purpose development and cross-training.
• Understand and administer employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules, monitoring individual and department performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001 Certification
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles or Six Sigma, preferred
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Prior experience in a production supervisory role
• Experience working in the metal or steel industry, preferred

Salary info:

$31 - $36 / hr
