We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee all activities related to the planning and production of products within a value stream. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor will optimize production processes, manage resources, and ensure the efficient flow of materials and information to meet customer demand.

What You Will Do:
- Lead and supervise a team of production personnel, including operators, and technicians to achieve production targets and quality standards within the value stream.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, yield, and on-time delivery to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues, implement process improvements, and ensure product quality.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles, such as value stream mapping and 5S, to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and production schedules to balance supply and demand, minimize excess inventory, and optimize working capital.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, including OSHA guidelines, and promote a culture of safety within the value stream.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, promote teamwork and collaboration, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Develop and maintain standard work procedures, work instructions, and visual management tools to support consistent and efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on production status, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on production planning and supervision.
- Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve performance goals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle) .
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and experience with quality improvement tools and methodologies preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team during relocation projects.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
