Production Team Leader jobs in Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the daily department meeting - discuss daily shipment goals, safety talks, etc.
• Maintain/monitor production goals and effectively communicate requirements to team members
• Coordinate production schedules and work with Production Supervisor to estimate team member hour requirements, and overtime needed
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders with support from Engineering to team members and assign workstation duties
• Initiate, assist, and/or cooperate in the set-up and implementation of process improvement initiatives
• Work with the Supervisor to facilitate and support employee records for training, safety, attendance, and production
• Communicate with their team and other Team Leads to coordinate activities of individual departments
• Partner with Production Supervisor to enforce company policies, rules, and regulations in a firm, fair, and consistent manner
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Regal Rexnord policies, 5S procedures, and in line with Regal Rexnord core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be capable of conducting the work in the area they lead
• Ability to support constructive work relationships, communicating both orally and in writing
• Ability to maintain an even demeanor in the face of adversity and exemplify strong, confident, and fair leadership
• Ability to use a computer with clear instructions and procedures
• Ability to problem-solve
