Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on and experienced Production Lead to join our team. As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for being hands-on in production where needed, overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and meeting production targets. You will work closely with the production team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.

Duties:

- Manage and supervise the production team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback

- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands

- Support production hands-on whenever work load is high to support your team in hitting end of day targets

- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements

- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications

- Maintain accurate production records and reports

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment

- Provide accurate inventory counts and inventory management

Experience:

- Proven experience in plant management or production leadership role

- Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and production planning processes

- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives

- Experience in quality control practices and implementing lean manufacturing principles

- Solid understanding of operations management and production management concepts

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues is preferred

Skills:

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

- Multi lingual - Spanish and English
