Production Team Leader jobs in Wichita, KS

CE Machine Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. This role is responsible for being a leadership resource to production employees by providing knowledge of manufacturing processes, maintaining production efficiencies, and delivering on both quality and operational goals.

Essential Job Functions include:

• Perform a full range of duties including shift oversite, machine tooling setup and distribution, and the operation of production Mills/CNC Machines as needed.
• Partner with General Manager to plan and execute production schedule to ensure on time delivery.
• Train new operators on existing operations and communicate performance expectations.
• Assist with production set-ups for accuracy and machine troubleshooting as needed.
• Oversee, coach, and develop employees by training on work methods and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in manufacturing with an additional three years of experience in CNC Machining; preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team toward their objectives – strong interpersonal skills and communications skills are required.
• Must be schedule driven coupled with being a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
