As a Production Supervisor on the first shift, your key responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership: Motivate and lead a dedicated team of production workers during the first shift, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Production Efficiency: Oversee and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring optimal efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Quality Control: Enforce stringent quality control measures to guarantee that our meat products consistently meet or exceed industry standards.
Safety First: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all team members.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing waste and ensuring timely stock replenishment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including reports and evaluations, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Thorough understanding of meat processing operations, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Dedication to safety regulations and fostering a safe workplace.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and optimizing production efficiency.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
