Position DescriptionAs a Production Supervisor, you will manage and oversee a specific department and team within the production process.

This will include, but is not limited to :

• Coordinate the team’s activities to accomplish the established production and safety goals.
• Manage and inspect the team’s output to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Train and coach associates to follow and maintain production SOPs.
• Maintain high employee morale and positive relationships.
• Address and manage absenteeism and employee performance.
• Recommend changes or improvement in methods, equipment, handling, or lay-out.
• Control scrap and waste.Position Requirements
• The ideal candidate has a degree or continuing education certifications as well as 2 years’ experience supervising others in a manufacturing setting.
• Skilled in developing, communicating, and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with employees as well as all levels of management.
• Solid computer skills, to include data entry, Excel, and Word are also critical to success in this role as well as the demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while preserving a sense of urgency.
