We have an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor (Second Shift) to join our growing team! This position will be responsible for overseeing the 4:15pm to 12:45am shift of 5 employees in a manner that ensures the obtainment of production, safety and quality goals. This role requires 90% of shift be spent on the production floor. Specific duties include the following:

• Coordinate with managers, peers, and subordinates to organize line workload and staffing depending on production priority.
• Monitor quality and efficiency to ensure products meet or exceed workmanship standards.
• Minimize changeover times through organized and well-planned changeovers with the day shift.
• Minimize excess material on the floor and ensure proper stock and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
• Inform and instruct employees of any deviations or changes in operations.
• Ensure personnel are trained, certified and effectively performing assigned functions.
• Motivate and challenge all members to perform to their full potential through direct and timely feedback.
• Track production deadlines/schedules through ERP and Excel based production planning.

Qualified candidates will have three years’ of experience in a supervisory role of a fast paced manufacturing company. Fluent in Spanish and English, a plus. Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to trouble shoot production equipment as well as strong math and computer skills are required. Experience in the metal production industry including operation of benders and threaders is preferred.
