Job Summary: We are seeking Trainer to join our team and build a training framework for our hourly employees in our Paint Plant. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs on the painting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in injection molding and painting, as well as training experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop training programs and materials for painting processes, including lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on training exercises.
- Conduct training sessions for hourly employees on painting processes, including safety protocols, equipment operation, and quality control.
- Assess training needs and provide ongoing coaching and support to employees to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other trainers and departments to ensure that training programs align with company goals and values.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in injection molding and painting processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
- Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
- Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
- Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, information technology, or related field, but not required.
- One (1) year previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
