Professional Services Director - Healthcare oversees the administrative and operational support of the facility's clinical programs. Assists in the development of departmental policies, procedures, and budgets. Being a Professional Services Director - Healthcare ensures compliance with established policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree. Additionally, Professional Services Director - Healthcare typically reports to top management. The Professional Services Director - Healthcare manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. As a Clinical Services Director at Edgewood, you’ll set the tone for the entire clinical department. You will help our nurses and caregivers provide the best care possible for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain appropriate resident care
- Assess current and prospective residents
- Participate in care conferences with families
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies
- Hire, train, and supervise clinical staff
- Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies
Qualifications:
- Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BSN, desired
- Three years clinical experience
- Previous experience supervising staff
- Geriatrics, dementia, and/or assisted living experience, desired
- Passion and drive for helping others
- A desire to continue learning and improving your skillset
