Securitas is hiring Healthcare Security Officers for a client location in Danbury CT!

Responsibilities will include:

Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the healthcare facility to monitor for any suspicious activity, unauthorized individuals, or safety hazards. This involves walking the premises, inspecting different areas, and being vigilant for any signs of potential security breaches.

Access Control: Control access to the facility by checking credentials, verifying the identity of visitors, and ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry. Monitoring surveillance cameras, and issuing visitor passes.

Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Healthcare security officers are often trained in first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures to provide immediate assistance and coordinate with other emergency responders as needed.

Patient and Staff Safety: Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff members by maintaining a visible presence, responding to safety concerns or complaints, and de-escalating any conflicts or disruptive behavior that may arise.
